These Terms and Conditions apply when you join the interest list for Tafløy Lofoten Resort & Casino, and they explain the main conditions attached to the project as it is described on this website. The interest list and the website are operated by Anna Lupii, 10B Akademika Korolova Street, Kyiv, 02000, Ukraine (“we”, “us”). General use of the website is covered by our Terms of Service.
1. The interest list is not a booking
Joining the interest list is free. It is not a booking, a reservation or a contract, and it creates no obligation for you or for us. It gives no priority right, no guaranteed availability and no commitment to any price. Its only purpose is to let us tell you when there is news about the project.
We will never ask for a deposit or any other payment in connection with the interest list. If you receive a request for payment that claims to come from Tafløy, do not pay it, and please tell us at [email protected].
2. Project status and opening date
Tafløy is a planned resort that has not been built. The opening date is to be announced. We cannot guarantee that the project will be completed, that it will open at any particular time, or that it will open at all. Plans depend on permits, licensing, financing and construction, and may change.
3. Artist’s impressions and planned figures
All images on the website are artist’s impressions. They show how parts of the resort are imagined today and are not photographs of existing buildings. Layouts, areas, finishes, furnishings, views, capacities, the number and types of rooms, and the facilities described may all change during design and construction. Figures shown on the website, including areas in square metres and capacities, are planned figures only.
4. The Games Room
The Games Room is planned as a room for board games that is open to all guests. Board games in the Games Room are played for fun: there are no stakes, no money is played for, and there are no cash prizes or prizes of any kind. Playing there is not gambling. The Games Room is a separate space, in a separate wing, from the entertainment and gaming lounge described below.
5. The workshop
Boards and pieces made in the resort’s workshop are made for use at the resort. They are not sold, and they are not offered to guests to take away. Any workshop sessions in which guests try carving will follow the resort’s safety rules and take place under supervision, and places may be limited.
6. The entertainment and gaming lounge
The entertainment and gaming lounge is subject to licensing. Land-based casinos are not currently licensed in Norway: casino games and gaming machines are offered only by Norsk Tipping, which holds the exclusive right, and betting on horse racing is run by the foundation Norsk Rikstoto. The gaming lounge will open only if the law allows it and the necessary permission is granted; until then, it remains a plan.
If it opens, the gaming lounge will be for adults aged 18 and over only, with valid photo identification checked at the entrance, and it will follow responsible gaming rules. Nothing on the website is an offer or an invitation to gamble, and we do not offer bonuses, promotions or any promise of winnings. 7. Weather, sea and nature
Many of the experiences described on the website depend on the season, the weather and the sea. Sea bathing, beach ceremonies, receptions on the quay, time on the water and sightings of wildlife cannot be guaranteed, and they may be changed or cancelled at short notice for safety reasons. Natural phenomena such as the northern lights, the midnight sun or storms depend entirely on nature and cannot be promised. Sea bathing will only be offered under the resort’s safety rules, with staff present.
8. Age
The interest list is open only to adults aged 18 and over. By joining, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
9. Your data
We handle the details you send when joining the interest list as described in our Privacy Policy. You can leave the list at any time by writing to [email protected].
10. Liability
Because the interest list is free and creates no contract, we are not liable, to the extent permitted by law, for any decisions or arrangements you make on the basis of it or of information about the project. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live, such as Norway or another EEA country. Please contact us first at [email protected] if something goes wrong; we will try to resolve it by email.
The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and can no longer be used. Consumers in Norway may contact the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet) for guidance and mediation, and consumers elsewhere in the EEA may use the out-of-court dispute resolution bodies in their own country. You may also bring a claim before the competent courts.
12. Changes
We may update these terms as the project develops. The date at the top of the page shows the current version. If a change is significant for people on the interest list, we will tell you by email.
