We are at the tail end of a glorious AVCon 2012. As the lead coordinator, I am extremely happy to say that The Indie Games Room was a success. This year, The Indie Games Room has made a transition to new management. It has been a bumpy ride until this point but we pulled it off.

I have Chris Bath and Johan Donough to thank for professional articles and a stress free weekend and I have James Turner to thank for developing a beautiful website. A big thank you to all the developers for making this year a success. It goes without saying that without you, The Indie Games Room would not be possible.

The Indie Games Room has come a long way since its conception. The previous coordinator and founder, Ben Kilsby, has made every effort to cultivate the game development scene in South Australia. It’s certainly paid off. In subsequent years, it falls upon us to carry the flame and we do so with pride.

To the attendees, thank you for coming to see these amazing games.
We’ll see you all again next year for a bigger, better, louder, flashier Indie Games Room 2013!
